  • Program Details 
  • 1. Introduction to basic pencil drawing movements (straight line, slanting line, curved lines, hatching 

            drawing and shapes drawing), warm- 

            up exercises, tracing basic shapes, and basic drawing lessons.

  • 2. Introduction to line drawings, and cartoon drawing (fruits, vegetables, birds, aquatic animals and human characters)
  • 3. Introduction to prospective drawings, based on the theme related to handwriting comic strips
  • 4. Colouring objects and shapes drawing
  • 5. Ink drawing based on the concept
  • 6. Continuation of warm-up exercises, uppercase letter formation, and basic drawing lessons with a  

             practice combining letters and shapes  

            (line, prism, oval, sphere wooden logs drawing)

  • 7. Focus on lowercase letter formation, object drawing, and labelling objects with handwritten words.
  • 8. Introduction of sight words and common phrases, nature drawing and descriptive writing.
  • 9. Introduction to advanced finger and hand exercises, dialogue and speech bubbles, comic strip and cartoon character creation.
  • 10. Creative writing and still life drawing, using descriptive narratives about still life scenes.
  • 11. Advanced finger and hand exercises, calligraphy, decorative lettering, and perspective drawing.
  • 12. Decorative lettering and typography, doodle art and entangles.
  • 13. Advanced finger and hand exercises, cursive writing, and advanced object drawing techniques.
  • 14. Storyboarding and character design, creating expressive characters.
  • 15. Portfolio review and final projects, reviewing progress over the year, reflecting on growth and 

           accomplishments, and completing a final project.

  • 16. The program includes finger and hand exercises throughout to promote better pencil grip.
  • 17. Each month builds on the previous one, introducing new concepts and techniques.
  • 18. The program culminates in a final project that showcases the children's skills and progress over theyear

  • 5. Drawing from observation, including still-life and figure drawing.
  • 6. Mixed media art, including different types of mixed media and collage techniques.
  • 7. Introduction to graphic design, and layer-wise drawing.
  • 8. Introduction to animation drawings.
  • 9. Portfolio development, including reviewing and selecting the best artworks, creating an artist 
  • statement, and setting up a portfolio.
  • 10. Exhibition preparation, including preparing artworks for the exhibition, setting up an exhibition space,  and promoting the exhibition.

  • 7. Introduce mixed media art, colour theory, and composition, then create an abstract artwork and portrait.
  • 8. Introduction to perspective drawing, including one-point and two-point perspective.
